Geoheritage is the valuable and non-regenerative geological natural heritage formed, developed and kept in reserve because of the geological process of inner and outer forces interacting upon each other in the long geological history period of the earth evolution. Its main types include: geological landform landscapes with great ornamental value and important scientific study value; geological sections and structural features with important value; important valuable ancient hominid sites and fossils; palaeobios fossils;minerals, rocks and their typical origins with special value; water resources with special significance; typical geologic hazard relics, etc.  |
