China’s National Geoparks which have joined into the Global Geopark Network
 
Up to September, 2014, there were a total of 111 members of Global Geopark Network (GGN) which were supported by the UNESCO and distributed in 32 countries and regions in the world: China (31), France (5), Malaysia (1), Iceland, Ireland (1), Finland (1), Norway (2), Italy (9), Ireland/Northern Ireland (1), South Korea (1), Portugal (3), Britain (6), Iceland (1), Canada (1), Japan (7), Vietnam (1), Austria (3), Czech Republic (1), Spain (10), Turkey (1), Brazil (1), Croatia (1), Greece(4), Germany/Poland (1), Germany (5), Romania (1), Hungary (1), Hungary/Slovakia (1), Indonesia (1), Slovenia/Austria (1), Slovenia(1), the Netherlands (1), Uruguay (1)、Denmark (1)、Morocco(1) China already has 31 global geoparks in the GGN and is hence the country with the largest number of global geoparks.
